Making a difference...One Starfish at a time

Our family started fostering back in 2005. We have been blessed to love on many babies. There has been many twists and turns throughout our journey and in December of 2010 we were called for placement of a newborn baby boy. His biological mother worked a case plan for 18 months and after 23 months she surrendered her rights and we adopted 'Sprout' in December of 2012. Our faith has been tried and tested and we are still certain that God is faithful!

Peanut is really settling in.  He is feeding better and as of Monday morning (after 6 days here) he gained 9 ounces.  He sleeps well but  I am waking him up for feeds during the day.  The nurses at the peds office were so happy to see him and they said that he already looks healthier.  His cry is stronger.  The agency worker said that bio dad went to court and  Peanut will be here for a while.  CP$ is doing an extensive criminal investigation.  We go back to the dr for x-rays next week.  Peanuts lawyer is coming next week to visit him at the house.  They are working on figuring out what happened, when and who did it.  I'm sure that over time, this will all come out.
