Making a difference...One Starfish at a time

Our family started fostering back in 2005. We have been blessed to love on many babies. There has been many twists and turns throughout our journey and in December of 2010 we were called for placement of a newborn baby boy. His biological mother worked a case plan for 18 months and after 23 months she surrendered her rights and we adopted 'Sprout' in December of 2012. Our faith has been tried and tested and we are still certain that God is faithful!

Sprout is 14 months old!!!
Time is FLYING by and I'm enjoying EVERY minute!

* He's still in size 4 diapers.
* In 12-18 and 18-24 month clothes.
* He is in his own bed in his OWN room!!
* He still has a pacifier but only at night.
* He sleeps through the night :)  (finally!!)
* He knows some animal sounds (cow, dog, cat,)
* LOVES to eat!!
* In size 5 shoes (not too much longer though...he's growing SO fast!)
* 2 top teeth and 3 bottom teeth.
* Naps for 3-4 hours (one time) during the day.
* Visits are still at 4 hours (unsupervised) 2 days a week and 3 hours (unsupervised) 1 day a week.  (Agency and county workers are still monitoring the visits with pop-ins and through one way glass)
* LOVES to dance to music.
* Walking all the time now, but still falling a bit.  I'm taking him to the ENT and EyE Dr if it continues.
* LOVES his family!!!
