Making a difference...One Starfish at a time
Our family started fostering back in 2005. We have been blessed to love on many babies. There has been many twists and turns throughout our journey and in December of 2010 we were called for placement of a newborn baby boy. His biological mother worked a case plan for 18 months and after 23 months she surrendered her rights and we adopted 'Sprout' in December of 2012. Our faith has been tried and tested and we are still certain that God is faithful!

I 'accidently' bought the stroller I've been wanting for Sprout. Call me crazy but I think it was a 'God thing'. Can't wait till it gets here and I can put him in it. I was waiting to find out more about his case and what the future holds but I am realizing that it's not my battle worry about. He's here NOW and I'm gonna enjoy EVERY MINUTE. I have also realized that I've been letting my circumstance ROB ME OF THE JOY that God brought me in the shape of a tiny, precious boy. It's so easy to focus on the visits and case workers and the 'system' but I am trying to remind myself DAILY that he's here NOW. :)

Love it! Enjoy every second of that little boy!
Good for you. I know how hard that is but have fun and enjoy him while he is with you so you have no regrets, whether he stays or goes.
all we have is today. :)
everytime i come here - you give me clarity.
